The inline three-cylinder engine, Euro 5+, stands out for its efficiency and performance. With 147 hp and 88 Nm of torque, it guarantees an entertaining ride. Engine timing is optimised to ensure minimal friction, while the gearbox is removable, just like in the racing world. The racing inspired counter-rotating crankshaft is designed to reduce inertia during changes in direction. Additionally, it now features a new 9-disc slipper clutch with torque assist, offering a 50% lighter clutch lever compared to previous versions.

ELECTRONICS

The electronics of the Superveloce S  Ottantesimo utilise an advanced 6-axis inertial platform, which provides all the necessary data for the efficient operation of various controls based on lean angle and other parameters. This integration ensures that safety and performance are inherently linked. The ABS features a cornering function to enhance safety even during turns, while the traction control system intervenes with precision, also taking the bike’s lean angle into account.
