The engine timing ensures very limited friction, while the gearbox is removable just as it is in the race world. The counter-rotating crankshaft also derives from the world of competition, designed to reduce inertia in the changes of direction.

The Brembo M4.32 callipers introduced on the Brutale RR are lightweight and very stiff - the braking power increases along with the ease of use, while the weight drops by 200 grams. The Continental MK100 ABS with RLM and cornering function allows for safe braking, even through the turns.
